Indigenous Memories

Indigenous Memories is a nonprofit located in Hillsborough, North Carolina dedicated to the education about and preservation of black and indigenous culture in NC. In the brand family, Sacred Land Press is a publisher with the goal of using the power of storytelling to preserve and celebrate the rich heritage of Indigenous people and People of Color in North Carolina. 

NOTE: I created this brand in collaboration with my colleagues at Parklife Communications. While this styling of Indigenous Memories is not what the client decided on, I have included it in my portfolio as a demonstration of cross-cultural research and design.

I designed, built, and currently help maintain Indigenous Memories’s present website.
